Sorry I couldn't get back to you guys earlier, I've been working on my TWS project for days and no time to SMACK!

I hate to mention it, but it seems we need to discuss the F1 race. All I can say is, "My worst fear in road racing has finally come true." How can you be 10 seconds ahead of second place and crash?!?!?!? That's just down-right embarassing! I don't know what the heck I was thinking! Believe me, I beat myself up about it until I'm sick to my stomach. I'm glad I still salvaged a 3rd place out of the deal, but Johnny Boy, I'm sorry you still got 4th. I tried to help you on Saturday but you were too good. Maybe next time.

And Buck - Congrats on your podium! I know you're hyped about it so I won't say anything (right now) to take that away. I'm glad you got a taste of it, so now you need to clear off a whole wall in the living room for all the future trophies. Really, hats off to ya bro, you deserve it.

As I was standing at the end of T1/1A and saw you pull in for tech, then seeing JW come around the corner, I almost jumped out onto the track in front of you, Derrick. Watching you go up the hill to T2... I realized I would have had to do more than that to let JW even get close.

On the other hand, I did enjoy showing JW the stopwatch indicating 0:07.30 (actually, it was 0:07.255). Even before he got his helmet off, I demanded he look at the watch. Puzzled, he asked what that small amount of time meant. I sadly informed him that it was the amount of time that seperated him from his very first podium.

I don't think that you will offer up similar oppertunities in "waiting" for JW as you did at OH, but be forwarned. There is a new fire in that boy's belly.
