Steve, I think the only way they could put kids on GP bikes at this point is to create a program that pushes used, newly obsolete CEV Moto 3 bikes to the US and into a new series. That seems to be the only way to make them even slightly affordable and still be training on the proper equipment.
Dorna just bought AMA pro, 10 races in 2015 and TV coverage on Fox. Can anyone confirm or deny?
Haven't seen any chatter about it. AMA did make some updates their BOD, but that's all I could find.
The WERA BBS is brewing over this subject as well. The WERA pro class in 2015 is trying hard to supplement the AMA. Let's hope for positive news!!!!

I want to see it actually happen too. Wouldn't be the first time Dorna made an agreement and then changed the rules.
Once the class structure and rules are announced I'll decide how excited I am. But I remain hopeful.
