Stolen RaceTrailers

Last night My gated lot in Dallas where I store my trailers was broken into and two trailers stolen. The scum bags took A Black tandem wheel with chrome bottom 16' V nose. This trailer was fully equipped with Cabinets, tire racks, e track, Honda 3000 gen,and tools. They also took a Aerolite BH26 travel trailer with a Honda 3000 gen.

I know that the chances of recovery are slim but I wanted to post this just in case they try to sell it to a racer.

That truly sucks! Did they get both trailers at the same time?

To everyone else, if you have a digital camera you have no excuse for not having the serial numbers of your possessions recorded!!

Take the time to take some photos, print them out and file them somewhere.

Yes it looks like they got both at the same time. Also take pictures of the outside and inside of you trailer. The Insurance company will want proof of all the upgrades that are done to your trailer.

I am really sorry to hear that they stole them.
Especially this close to Christmas!

Our Boy Scout trailer was stolen a few years ago from the fenced in, locked storage area at the church.
It even had our Troop number on the sides & back.
A year and a half later the police found it in Midland Tx. (Troop numbers removed)
So there IS hope for recovery !

We had replaced it by that time.
Since then we use wheel locks & tongue locks as well as keeping them in the locked fenced area. Fortunately no thefts since then.


The police told us they are sometimes used as portable 'Meth' labs... go figure !
