Re: CRRC-CMRA Archives...
Oh yeah, I am trying to get the "Class Champions" picture editions so you can see those wild and crazy hair styles.

Re: CRRC-CMRA Archives...
OK, computer crashed 3 days after I started this. Finally have the scanner back up. Good news now is that I can scan (and read results).
This latest one is from 1989. It has some really neat articles (season wrap up issue).
Names to look for
Sam McDonald
Luther Lowman/Mike Jones (Team Smoke, now racing again)
Jeff Harder (NOT JEFFREY, Jeff) - See "Team Mad Dog" ad.
Larry Bauer (Yep, same Larry)
David Hirsh
Phillip Fisher
Joe Prussiano (novice)
Eric Falt
Also read the Race Director's report (TMGP people will recognize Dennie Spears name )
Lastly, look at the club news versus today's club news. CRRC/CMRA has come a long way indeed, although we still had problems getting results in ARM (JU was editor there too! )
There are a total of 12 pages. (Photos 32-43)

Re: CRRC-CMRA Archives...
What's dumber, Jay, is I gave away all my old TZ250 and RD stuff to clean out the shop once. I sincerely thought I was through with racing. That stuff might be worth a small fortune on ebay now and my shop is no cleaner than it was!
But, maybe contact Charlie Brothers? He might have the stuff from the late 70s and early 80s. He was a star, probably wanted to record his history, LOL. I kept some publications, Cycle News, Inside Lines, and such where I was written about, but I don't know where any of it went. Probably lost in the dust bunnies somewhere. Also, in Austin, Chris Fox might have stashed some of that. He provided pix of Aquafest for an article in Texmoto once. He might be a pack rat of history, LOL. There are others I can think of to contact. I could ask around. Bob, ol' Bob Dickey, you readin' this thread?

Yep. I'll go back through the archives and look for TMRA/CRRC/CMRA stough.
Hey! A cold one to the first person (besides Jack) who can identify Lou Linden and why he was important in our history.

OK Eric, I owe you the cold one of your choice (not my ex...). Lou was indeed a founding father butt, by that time, he was a lawyer. Pretty nice guy in spite of that, though
