I know Eric Williams is heading to Nola for the WERA race at the end of this month.
We will be heading out there as well for some GP125 action for Nick.
Is anyone else going from the club?

Myself,Dolph Mcvicker,Harold Lambert, and I believe Brandt and lisa are too. Sounds like quite a few are going.
Mark Windham, Matt Vastine, and myself are planning on it.
We will be going.
who wants to bring me haha
Sounds like a big friggin' CMRA party again à la Barber 2011. Might have to sell some stuff to try to go.
You will have another. JC Camacho is slated to attend the WERA event as well.
I am going

Josh
I can hook you up with the guy who bought my "extra" kidney. I hardly miss it at all.
Very cool.
Can you say Pit Party???
Yes.. Lisa and I are going, too!
I believe the HSBK crew will be going!
Are the CMRA and WERA rules the same?
Negatory. Only slight differences in tech requirements. I think the main one is you're supposed to safety-wire the rear caliper bolts. Exhaust baffles must be safety-wired. Another consideration: you may not be able to run your CMRA number at the WERA event because it may already be taken.
Classes are a little different. For example, something that threw me off for a bit is their D class does not include SV650.
In a multi-wave start, sometimes (always?) every wave starts at the same time. This is such a dumb idea, in my opinion and experience.

you have to wire rear caliper bolts in CMRA too
anyone going up friday after noon? from the austin/san marcos area
Starting to consider going, but need someone to go with. I'm in northwest Austin.Originally Posted By: Alan Phillipsanyone going up friday after noon? from the austin/san marcos area
I just saw this...Me, Son Sid Shaddock, Kraze Kris Lillegard, & Gabriel John Rangel (Team Fastline Minis #48) will likely be heading over as well. If Sid is eligible (he turns 16 on July 2nd...any one know the rules?) he will run his 600. Just starting to plan the logistics...
If I am not mistaken, Alonzo Contreras and Jeffro will be there too.
i'm in, if there's anybody else going from dfw area..
Don't mind if I do.
At what point should one consider venturing out to a WERA event?
About the time your wife says "Fine, just do whatever"
You'll pay or it later, but grab your gear and hit the road lol
Everyone behave (read no crashing) and we'll have to get a group shot of the CMRA invasion
The Altmeyers will be going.

Alan, we are going but leaving Thursday. Brandon will be doing the practice/qualifying Friday.
This looks very tempting!
The Morgans will be there!

Lol, I was thinking more for her than for me. We might roll down just to hang out at this one.
they have a ladies class Mike.

I noticed. The novice division of that seems under-represented. Want to car pool? My truck, your trailer?

This is normally a DARE, not permission.

Andy and I are thinking seriously about this one.
Anyone figured out a "CMRA hotel"?
Hell yeah!!!
Come one come all.
Ronnie, what are you waiting for???
I'm going Friday thru Sunday to help represent the CMRA Novices. Look for #927. I've already contacted WERA and my number is good to be run with them.
FYI for those who haven't been to NOLA, there are electrical hookups at the track (no water). Contact Kelly@nolamotor.com to reserve the electrical hookups. There are quite a few hotels within 10 mins of the track tho for those not staying at the track. Garages are not for rent for the weekend.

Chapter 8-machine requirements:
o) The seat or fender must extend toward the rear, past a line drawn vertically through the rear axle.
Nobody likes battling with a naked bike!
Andy, I always thought to myself at the track, that after each round you remove one non-essential thing from the bike
Add Jeff Kulchinski to that list Matt
