Anyone willing to share hotel recommendations for area hotels? I've got a few people interested in watching our events and I'm trying to help them find lodging.
Any hints greatly appreciated.

Bam. Thanks Josh.
Allen - in the thread Josh linked I 'dumped' on the Budget ZZZ in Cleveland. I've now been told that they've overhauled the rooms since my last stay there and it is improved. Reviews of that hotel from a more recent guest might be in order.
I just upgraded to a bigger tent Allen...just saying...
Although it's a bit further away, don't discount Stillwater. The Hampton is really nice there, and there's much better food options than Sand Springs.
Although it's kind of far, I ended up staying at the Best Western in Stroud (30 miles away? at 99 and the southern turnpike) and it was acceptable. Haven't been brave enough to stay at one of those close ones.
My old lady's father owns a bunch of land in Perkins which is right next to Stillwater. Before there was a house on the property we used to stay in the hotels in Stillwater and there are several nice ones to choose from.
The drive isn't all that bad, when I go to Hallet I stay at the house in Perkin's which is just a touch further than Stillwater and it takes me i think 30-45 minutes... Which may be far when considering a hotel.. but when your going to a "home" its not bad at all...
There is also a Eskimo Joe's in Stillwater which is pretty good.. and its a college town so there is after hours entertainment if thats the sort of thing youre into.
Boomtown! !!!
I got a room at a new Holiday Inn Select in Sand Springs...hopefully easy...just there Friday night...
How far is that Allen, Im thinking of taking the small trailer instead of the toy hauler this round. That a heck of a drive pulling the TH through all the construction on 35
Hey Michael,
I'm guessing about 40 minutes...Sand Springs is on the extreme west end. I've got a guest this weekend and I unfortunately have to leave at the end of the BBE on Saturday...I just don't have time to set up/break down...haul hiney.
