I like how you're calling it a "price reduction" instead of focusing on the real fact that you're canceling your contingency program for racers, wonder how many of the "fast" guys that did infact sign with 'lop are regretting it now...
If you're so concerned about sponsoring the top 3 experts' race program, feel free to send them a check. Personally, I'm glad to spend less money on a product's marketing costs.

But since I'm not a fast guy, I would defer that you could ask any of the riders on the Village Idiots or LocoMotion about their thoughts on that - they're all fast guys, on Dunlops.
Lastly, if you're only interested in running a tire that pays contingency, you can look at what the payouts are for what brands (it's listed in tech) and make your own determination from there.
Oh, I'd never run anything but Pirelli, anyone who does is just leaving speed on the table...
