I'd say that a 1:36 is a respectable lap time for a stock SV at OHR, especially for your first time at the track. Way to go.

Some guy from Lousiana claims he used to get into the 1:32s with his SV. The best I ever got with mine was about 1:34 flat. I had the requisite suspension goodies, pipe and jet kit. If you are doing 1:36s with a bone stock SV, you're doing great!

Actually an SV should EASILY do 30's at OHR.
I believe Falt and others do 26's

Not easily. I'm pretty sure the fastest Eric's been around there on the 650 was a 28 or 29, and AFAIK no one's broken 28 on an SV. Anything under 30 is reeeaaaally flying. 36's for a newbie is pretty damn good.Quote:Originally posted by Keith Hertell #11:

26's ??? nah man, the fastest anyone went on an sv650 this last oakhill race was low 28's. you can check fastest lap times on the overall results page for oakhill.

This is my first year and the fastest Oak Hill lap I have turned is a 1:31:2
My bike is a superstock SV with only a pipe, rejet, and Pirelli DOT race tires.
As a side note, I had to ride WAY over my head to get below 1:32

It's been a couple years since I raced there and the last time I don't even remember being there. So I went and looked at my notes. It's 29's at OHR. Sorry the the confusion.
What track is this?
