Thanks for getting this released so early!!!
I'll second that thanks - it's really helpful to have the dates for those early rounds available before the holidays, so those of us whose vacation schedule is based on fiscal year can plan out how much we love our families vs. how much we love racing :)
I'll ask what's probably on everyone's mind, though: is this finalized, or is the club still trying to get a 9th (or 10th?!?) round on the schedule?
Thank for the early schedule, could you tell me which dates are for ULW Endurance?
Jeeez Walter....could you be any slower at releasing next year's race dates?
Thanks for all you do! :hail:
Thanks Walter!
I love you, Walter
Thanks Walter!
Thanks Walter! Your on top of your game!
Thank you Walter !
You are AWESOME !!!!
Thank you guys this helps!
Can we please get at least 1 CCW in Cresson?
Thanks Walter
Good work WW and the BOD!!
Too early to ask how many ULWE rounds are expected?
Great! Thanks!
Bump!
First post UPDATED and finalized!
So any chance there will be another class for the R3, Ninja 300, and 390?
If we have two 500 classes and the F3 class rules change to allow 400"s "I think I read this somewhere or Walter said it in a riders meeting" that's three classes the 400 will be competitive and only one class "ULWGP" the 300's will be competitive in. Two classes that are specific to the Ninja 250's.
ULWGP was the largest grid in the expert class last year and second largest in the Novice class last year.
Maybe if we add another class for the ULWGP folks, we can increase race entries.
Whatever we can do to get at least two classes that's competitive for the 300s.
I bet your right, but looking at last years numbers there's more members that own ULWGP bikes than any other bike in the club. We might as well get them another class and make a dollar while doing so.
Woohoo! I'm diggin the two Hallett endurance rounds.
Someone fill me in. What’s the most competitive bike in F3?
Will it be the 400 next year?
Would the 300’s be more competitive in F3 or 500 SS/SB if there isn’t an additional race added?
Foe F3: A 400 will probably be the most competitive.. However someone could dust off a 125c gp bike and it would clean up.
Here are the rules:

Jordan, we are changing the structure of the F3 class. Next year and this years structure will be completely different.
[QUOTE=Ryan Max Johnson;350217]Another vote for a second 300 race, if possible...
I thought ULGP was going getting two races with qualifying. Did I completely hear wrong?
IMHO the only fair thing would be to structure 3 classes for the 400 and 3 classes for the 300's. I know that will isolate the 250's but face it, there are not many in the club anymore. So 500SS, 500SB and F3 for the 400's and up. Then ULGP, ESS and ESB for the 300's and down. That makes it fair, both classes have a real shot at winning the class #1.
It would be nice to get the 250/300/400 scenarios sorted out asap so we can make the right decisions to get ready for the season. Thanks in advance.
How many 400s raced in 2018? I think I saw 2. If there are more, cool. If not, I appreciate preparation, but seems risky to structure so specifically. Perhaps the hope is 300s will fill in the gap in the 400 classes til ten, assuming they’re permitted to race up. Otherwise, I’m sure John’s proposal is fine, judging by the response. I’ll race whatever!
a number of folks have purchased and are building Ninja 400s, myself included.
FYI - I know more people that have bought 250's to race next year than 400's
I was speaking in terms of leaving the # of classes the same. If truth be told, 3 classes per bike size would be the most fair. That would add 1 more class for the 250, and 2 more for the 300's. Not sure Walter can fit that much extra in the daily schedule, but it would be nice.
Actually Jay ran 1:50s on his SS250 at the last round which would have been fast enough to win the ULWGP race. I believe we had some sort of performance committee that was mentioned last year with Jim C and Steve U. Have we consulted them? There's a pretty large performance advantage between all of these bikes. My only problem with the current schedule is there's only one class the ULWGP bikes will be competitive in vs three for the 400 and two for the 250's. All that really needs to happen here is make that F3 class another ULWGP class "opposed to a 400 class" and I believe most people will be happy.
On a side note. There are more ULWGP bikes owned by members of the club than any other bike. If we are screaming about not making any money, why not have three classes for the most owned motorcycle in the club?
Have we already figured out the the Ninja 400 is as fast or faster than the 500’s?
If ULW is going to be a “Premiere Class” from here on out, seems like there should be 2, 2, & 2.
2 races for 250’s - ESS & ESB
2 races for 300’s - ULWGP & F3
2 races for 400/500 - 500SS & 500SB
Can someone enlighten me on whether or not the Ninja 400’s are as fast as the CBR 500’s??
The CBR500 is strangely slow. Faster acceleration than R3, but just barely.
