We need a new design for the 2006 license card.
I thought it might be fun to open it up to the membership and offer one weekend of free entries and gate pass to the winner of the competition.
We're going to need it pretty soon, so I can start printing next year's license cards. So please email your designs to me as soon as possible.

Are the colors straight out of a PMS book or are they special match?

I dont think I did. I believe it is an 'imperative sentences'. Come on I know there are some English Majors out there, I never made higher than a C and usually lower.

sorry for my late response... in the sentence, "from" is a preposition (ie, We came from the track.). I was half kidding... if a phrase such as that were to be included in the final design, however, I think something like "Where champions are made!" or something like that might sound better

These are really great designs, but I'm pretty sure that you can't use a photograph without the photographer's written permission. And the same goes for someone's personal image.
Well Nancy, I can't speak for the other folks that have submitted designs, but with my design the background image is secondary. The background image can be replace with any image you or the board wish. The main goal was to show the layout of the card.
OK, I'll grant permission to use my image on the 2006 cards...

Tony, if Brian J. Nelson shot that image I will get permission if your card is chosen. It looks like one of his shots from Laguna. Nancy is correct about the photographer but a persons images in the public domain can generally be used without permission but I doubt Nicky would mind [img]/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

The only image I can see clearly is Bibman on the front fender, and I think we have a go on that. The paint scheme could be anyone [img]/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif[/img]
David, I'm not sure who the photographer is that shot that picture, but it is of Nicky at the USGP. I got it off of the motogp site. But like I said before, the picture is mearly the background. I can be easily replaced with another picture if need be. Oh, thanks for offering to help get permission on the pic.
You can always use the 'Does this bike make my butt look fast' picture of the LunaChix's rear ends taken by Shan for the Inside Line - if Shan would agree, of course [img]/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif[/img]
