weather.com says 76 degrees on Saturday and no rain.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
15 day forecast in Texas...you can't trust the 15 hour forecast (I hope). Well as we get closer I'll figure if the rains need to be mounted on the spares
Whoa there big fella. You can't trust a weather forecast that is more than 12 hours out. It's going to be fine!!!!

Accuweather is more reliable.....but I'm with you Nancy Sunny 76 degrees will do nicely
OK, we need everyone to ward off the weather. Everyone do the following:
1) Buy rain tires
2) Buy gas portable heaters
3) Buy RainX/Anti-Fog
Preparation for a cold weekend will ensure IT WONT HAPPEN!!!

East Texas is like Louisiana....if you don't like the weather just sit back and wait 5 mins. I believe 15 days out is pretty much a guess at best.
Are there rain-tires for minis?
I'd be mounting the snow tire agian if was you boys. Me, I'll be missing another one. Sadly my CMRA season won't begin until TWS. How sad, I miss all my friends and SVer's. Even if most of ya stayed Yella!
Interesting to see how people are concerned already. I tend to not set a preliminary strategy until the eve before the race. And that is only preliminary. Final plans are set at the time it is no longer possible to change tires before race xyz 2nd call...
intellicast, no chance of snow
Intellicast
booyeah now i like that one
Yeh, I like that one too. Can I wear a yellow hawaiian shirt instead of my prov. nov shirt?Quote:Originally posted by Igal Askeroglu #670:

These races might be more fun than Oak Hill!!!
I'm with Keene!! My rain are still mounted and READY!!! BRING IT ON!!!! I'm no weekend warrior... It wouldn't be the first time I've ridden with snow on the ground!!!
how funny. now accuweather says sunny for the weekend and weather.com says rain on sun. still about an 8-11 degree difference in temperature though. let's see what they come up with tomorrow.
good thing i have rains on one set of rims and dry tires on the other.
It's shaping up to be really nice!

I like the looks of that^^^^^^^^
My wife does too, she's 8mths preg! She tuffed out OHR and is not wanting to try another weekend like that anytime soon.
I'm sure as hell glad we're not racing there THIS weekend...
Chuck,
No doubt.....parts of Grand Prairie/Dallas became raging rivers. I think we've got enough rain now
I hope the track wasn't washed away!
This just in....due to the recent heavy rains, MSR will be held in rusk county, which is where the track has hit high ground in east Texas! How convienent...right next to OHR. APR,APB!! My driveway is about 1500 ft long and made of gravel,..if anyone has seen it in the southern Oklahoma area, contact Spotted Dog Racing. News has spread that the recent rainfall has coaxed my driveway to head towards the north Texas area!! :p Jeff,. Bring the Kabota to MSR!
The weather forecast looks sweet! A beautiful Texas spring weekend sans the humidity.
Just don't run off the track!
