Not sure why that is but put this is your pipe and smoke it, gas was $1.46 a gallon when Dubya took office. I wont be happy until I see that again.

hey buck.... lowest I've seen here is $2.35 and if I go out away from town towards waco or anything it just goes up..... and no I cant see any refineries here though.... I'd be exstatic with $2.02 Dont expect the gas prices to really lower until it grows to be obsolete vehicle fuel.....

News reports indicated gas prices could dip below $2.00 by first of the year due to excessive crude supplies, and Winter Blends.
"Prices dipped as oil prices dropped to about $64 a barrel. A mild hurricane season and decreasing concern about Iran's manipulation of the oil market are also credited for bringing about lower prices.
The prices could continue to tumble when the switch is made to a winter blend."
