Where are there any kart tracks in TX that have open practice days? I know the Katy track TMGP races at has a membership deal but surely there has to be a couple out there that just have open practice days for mini bikes, Groms, and supermotos.......right? lol. If not anyone have access to a big parking lot and we can buy some cones?

There is a cart track up in Denton right next to North Star Dragway.

The Kart track up in Denton doesnt do motorcycles at all unless you race there with TMGP at the race weekends it is rented to them.
Neil, what major city are you in/near? (I'm in San Antonio, know of a parking lot from an abandoned KMart, and I have alot of cones!)

The katy kart track membership is something like $300 / year. They give you they give you the combo to the gate and you go whenever you want. If there is an event going on then obviously you cant use it then. Those events arent very often either. I used to go on weekdays and I would have the track to myself for hours. $300 is pretty cheap for unlimited use.
You guys might want to check with the Hill Country Kart Club, they have a nice track off of 337 just outside New Braunfels. Don't know if they allow mini's or not but its worth a call...
I just looked into this Katy track a little further and think this is going to have to happen.
