I didn't even have time to post it...
TEEEDDDDDD!!!!
Feel better now? And I'm offended because no one personally offended me. Dangit! Good work, energy and passion all around, for sure.
I liked technology on the first page. Then, by page three or four, i didn't like it so much. And by the time that i got to page ten, I was really beginning to wonder
Hey look I'm back from the dead
3 years later
Imagine how much less cash someone would have had to been accountable for if some of the CMRA transactions could've been made online over the last 3 years. Members could pay entry fees, gate fees, buy merchandise etc. Whatever it would have cost 3 years ago ($5k, $10k, $15k?) would have been worth every penny than to have folks dragged through the streets over accusations of skimming cash. Sure, there would still be cash to handle but not as much. Just the risks of handling that much cash, driving across Texas with it, getting it to the bank, etc is worth the investment.
If it took an increase in fees to pay for this I'd think membership would have been less combative than they've been over an increase citing insurance and rental fees.
But after all, it's only club racing and not really that important in the grand scheme of things. :thumb:
