John, I haven't raced for the top of a race yet... just racing to get out of the bottom! (A third in F40LW @ ECR was purely by mistake... and not a lot of old farts racing lightweight bikes...)

top... bottom... whatever... get out there and Salt-n-Pepa PUSH IT PUSH IT!!!!
you keep pinning it and you will soon see the ways of the high side, my son.
mine was not a high side per se, but, apparently, my grom did 2 full rotations in the air...
I have spun up the rear on my Grom several times on the kart track and also entering the rattlesnake this weekend...
Ride it like you stole it!
Seriously though, none of us is getting serious power with our modest mods. Rider weight is the biggest factor, and there is discussion of fair ways to even this out. But, because corner speed (and keeping it pinned) is key, I reckon the most important modifications are suspension and tires.
Update from the Grom withdrawal victim... parts are in, put back together... taking for a test drive... and then they went out for lunch... sounds like I get to pick it up today!! hmm... where to take it this afternoon? :-)
