I have a Grom available here at Rockwall Honda !!!! Call Eric Falt at 972-771-6686 !!! $3998 out the door !
Friendly reminder: be sure to put your headlight back in place of the # plate and install at least 1 mirror before going to lunch after a race weekend. Removing tape from the taillight helps too.
Is there a ticket involved or better story or did it all work out?
Poor John Black and it would have been 20!
i just might make the grid soon. trying to find a seller thats not a douchebag is more difficult than it sounds nowadays. I won't over pay either.
Right now grom owners are very proud of their groms and want over msrp for them. A dealer here in Beaumont has 2-3 last I checked for $3800 otd.
I can't believe there are places charging over retail. I literally paid MSRP, plus the $125 Honda delivery fee. No doc fees or anything else. Dealer even apologized for not being able to discount it at all.
I am planning to "Grom", possibly as early as Cresson...
David Hicks has a plan? I am liquidating all assets and buying gold and m.r.e.s
Well, that didn't take long...
Trophies for round eight!

Totally dope.
Those are the kind of trophys you never give away!
well, as many know, I about mechanically un-inclined as one could be.. trying to upgrade my air intake... but something just isn't right.
Is this tube facing backwards the air intake? http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1408219517
and this the "air box" (as in box that the air filter resides)? http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1408219525
and if that is correct, why is oil dripping out of there when I loosen the screws... if not, what is it?
That is the air box. I just removed mine today; however, I'm letting Ryan Andrews do the mod since it requires some crafting to use the K&N filter without it.
ya, I finally figured that out... man, there was a bit of oil in the bottom of the airbox. I almost have everything connected... almost.
I took all that stuff off.
You can then turn the intake around ( requires some minor wire/ cable re-routing) and the K&n fits right on. You can fit the K&n without turning the intake around but it doesn't look as cool! No performance advantage either way as best I can tell.
Put brake lines on mine last week... Like you need brakes......

If any Grommers are going to the WERA GNF at Barber and we get more than lets say 10 of us, we will have track all to ourselves.
On what part? WERA usually runs all Minis in the same race. A 50cc class and a 80cc class. But if there are a couple of Grom's which I am sure of 6-7 WERA guys as of now, he will Give us our own race with no other bikes and possibly some trophies. It's not a class for WERA so I thought it was cool. No biggie or anything all I am saying is any CMRA guys that are coming to race the GNF or endurance bring your groms. It also appears he is adapting CMRA Grom rules.
Uh oh..............
i am taking one of these home

I have something special saved for the championship trophies. They're going to be ridiculous.
The season is over, I hope all of you had as much fun as I did. Thank you to each and every one of you that entered and raced the class and gave me your stuff to turn into trophies!
I hope to see more Groms on the grid next year! :D
