I just finished hard-wiring mine. Here it is off:

    And on:

It's just an LED accent light(purchased from Cycle Gear) with a switch and 5 amp fuse connected to the battery.

Captive spacers are allowed under paragraph 6.2, (y). Is there somewhere else that says it's not? I don't follow.

By saying it needs to be mounted to pass tech, are you saying... 1) It needs to be mounted at all times throughout the weekend no matter if it's a wet/dry race weekend? 2) It only needs to be mounted to pass tech, but on dry race weekends it can be removed after passing tech?

Our bike fits this class we want to run it, we can disable or remove the quick shifter, but we just spent the money on the brake master. Only problem I see for us right now.

Bryan, please note that the 'dialogue' between Walter and Yorke was specifically in regard to the new Supersport Endurance class.

The allowance you cite is under Superstock rules on page number 22. IF you are running Superstock, that applies to you; if running Supersport it does not.

There is no specific allowance for captive spacers or any quick-change gear under Supersport items a) through n) on page 24; therefore per the last sentence in that section they are not allowed for the Supersport class.

The sole endurance-specific allowance for Supersport is that relating to modification of the filler on the stock fuel tank, described in the last section at the bottom of page 34.

Please read page 34 in its entirety closely .... the Endurance rules for Supersport are distinctly different (and more restrictive in terms of allowed endurance modifications) than for all other endurance classes.

I'm referring to the page numbers printed on the bottom of each page, not the PDF file page numbers.

    Hopefully that resolves any confusion.

further, will people just be allowed to run a street tail with the existing tail light intact? Or are we pulling lights off just to put different lights back on?
