Formula/Superbike: 2001 SV650, $3,600 firm
Motor, suspension (front and rear) and tranny built by Jim Cambora/RaceworX. This bike helped me earn me the #4 club plate in 2009 plus 2nd place in the following classes: Superbike D, Lightweight Twins and Formula 40LW. I also earned 3rd place in Formula 2 with it.
Approximately $6000 motor built by Jim Cambora. Mods too numerous to mention all. New crank with engine build (lightened, balanced, polished); 2mm over pistons, knife edged rods, high perf cams, valve and head work, undercut tranny, reduced weight/cut stator, Keihin FCR 41mm flatslide carbs, etc. Penske rear shock and front forks built by Jim. Scotts Damper, Mychron Dash, steel-braided lines, Akrapovic titanium pipe, Woodcraft CFM rearsets, and more. This is clearly a Formula Bike or Superbike and not legal for Superstock classes. It is legal for Lightweight Twins.
Motor built in Jan 2008. Raced Feb-May, 16 total sprint races in 2008 on it. Valves adjusted by Jim Cambora in March 2009. Raced 28 Sprints after valve adjustment. NEVER ENDURANCED. Clean title.
