When will pre registration for the 2011 season opener be available?
When will pre registration for the 2011 season opener be available?
Patience grasshopper, j/k, lol, we all are waiting. It is a race in itself.
I need every advantage I can get lol
2011 pre-entry forms will be made available to everyone on Tuesday, January 18th @ 9:00 a.m.
The forms will be posted on the Forms Page of the website and 2011 members who provided an updated email address on their application, will also get an email announcement with links to the forms.
Pre-entries will not be accepted without a 2011 CMRA license.
+ You may pre-enter for any race all year, at any time, up until midnight on the Friday one week prior to the race weekend. Pre-entries are only charged on the Monday before the race weekend. If you'd like to pre-enter for the entire season at one time, simply check the "Season Entry" box near the top of your form and you'll be charged for each race on the Monday before. If you are pre-entering for the season, leave the track and date information blank.
+ Pre-entry by fax or US mail ONLY - no email attachments will be processed. Our MyFax.com service works well; do NOT call, write or PM asking if your form is received - I will not respond until I have processed and posted the list of received pre-entries in the initial crush. Use your fax machine confirmation page to ensure you sent things right-side up and all pages were transmitted.
+ You must have a 2011 CMRA license to submit a pre-entry. If you have not applied for or renewed your license you must make those forms the first pages of your fax, with entry forms under that, leaving your bike number blank on the pre-entry form. I'll update the assigned numbers post before pre-entries are posted on Tuesday.
Endurance Pre-Entry Forms
+ Endurance entries will only be accepted from Team Owners or Team Captains who have already registered their team or are including Team Registration Forms with the pre-entry.
+ All riders listed on the endurance pre-entry form must have 2011 licenses. Verify with your riders that they have renewed their license before listing them on the form.
+ Endurance entries MUST be signed by at least two riders. Additional riders can be added later at the track. Once a rider has signed the form they cannot be removed from the team and will always count toward your 5-rider limit.
+ All riders listed on the pre-entry form must have signed the form and completed the emergency contact information.
+ Do not list riders who have not signed the form.
+ If your form is not complete in any respect, it will be moved to the bottom of the pile and will not be processed until after I have processed the initial crush of properly completed forms. Pre-entries received without a transponder listed, will be charged $50 and assigned a CMRA rental transponder. No refund.

Will, a Prov Nov is a licensed CMRA member. Prov Nov is just your status, just like Novice or Expert. Prov Novs have the same membership rights and privileges as any other CMRA licensed member.
So, the answer is yes, Prov Novs can pre-enter.

Joe, as soon as they are available, they are accepted.
Why would I make them available at some random time announced at the last minute? My job is to help get our riders on the track, not try to prevent it.
I post all information about things our riders need to know well in advance. It's up to the riders to visit the CMRA Announcements section of the Message Board to keep up with that information.
I posted the pre-entry information on January 6th, 12 days before the pre-entry forms will be made available. The day and time that they will be made available is clearly announced in the very first line of my post.
And, I have no idea if someone is pulling your leg.
