I like technology what about you

Hi my name is Greg Phillips, you may remember me from other threads such as http://www.cmraracing.com/showthread...Email-amp-more , and http://www.cmraracing.com/showthread...Forms-Feedback ......

Well ......... its 2013 the season is about to start and well ...... what has changed is the forum (good job btw ted), and emailing forms at least that got better. One of those post is 3 years old from 2010 (crap its been that long, is that right ?)! I am sure most of the racers are just used to the process by now, but why continue living in 1985 when the option is there to get things to 2013. As I look to signup for things thing year it reminded me of how out of date things were.

So again, if the CMRA is interested in coming to 2013 with technology as far as registration and other pieces of the site, let me know. I feel so much more can be done, but I guess it isn't on the priority list and I don't know why it isnt. I don't even know how much I plan on racing this year, but I am willing to help if the CMRA actually wants the help this time.

I know you are a non profit , but why cant we just setup a paypal (yes you can pay if u dont have a paypal) for the org, create a form and look online payment and submission are there.

Yes, updates coming as time allows. Online Registration is about 95% finished and I will be looking for beta testers soon.

I'd like you to help test if you'd like to join in. Give me 1-2 weeks to finalize some aspects that were waiting on some early year decisions and we'll dive in.

Ted has a bad tendency to do things in the best interest of the club, instead of what members want NOW!

    I respect this.
