    The rumble strip is so the cars dont run in the dirt, the other option would be to have a high curb there like T2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 lol I'd rather have the rumble strip.

    Allan, the curbing in 6 is the same height as those other turns. and a high smooth curbing is much safer than a serrated one, short or high.

    Even a chamfer on the leading edge of each serration would be a huge improvement, and still give the cars the feedback they desire. I'll bring my 8" angle grinder and a couple of stone wheels if they will let me at it...

    How about the friggin' car guys just stay on the damn road surface!?
    Watching four-wheel road course racing now, is a joke. NONE of them stay on 'the road' ever corner is how far over that curbing can I get before I completely tear the undercarriage of my vehicle apart.

    'Curbing' should be treated as, "I screwed up my turn, and rode onto the curbing'. It should not used as just another element of the 'racing surface'; as we relentlessly watch their cars bounce all over the place going over it, EVERY lap.

    Rip all that concrete out, and put the dirt back!...
    Let them spin-out on the exit of Turn 6, and Turn 11 when they cannot stay on the 'racing surface'; and let them rip their vehicles in half, and get unnecessarily get injured, like we've had an excellent CMRA rider do recently!

    I like the rumble strips at the bottom of the hill on Cresson's 1.3. Nothing for anyone to ***** about there and it accomplishes the same goals.

    The ones at COTA are pretty nice too.

    The ones on the outside of the Wagon Wheel at MSR are similar to the ones at TWS T6.

    It's pretty easy to know when your tires have hit a different surface than the racing surface, even on our bumpy tracks. They don't need sharp edged, 4 inch deep cuts to notice. (or whatever it actually is).

    Seeing what happened to Brandon, absolutely. Shared a garage with their family last year at Hallett, and they are good people! Have seen Brandon race for a while now, I truly admire and am jealous of his riding abilities, to accomplish what he consistently does, on multiple motorcycles!
    It is appalling for what has happened to him, due to the track conditions. Then hear that a fellow CMRA member was told by a TWS employee that we motorcycle riders will just have to 'find another way around the track'. Is it not evident their (TWS) only care/focus is to the four-wheel leagues?

    Seeing Jim Dugger's leathers over the past race weekend, and hearing him talk about how he almost took his knee off in Turn 6; who's another racer who I think is a great rider.

    Does being Mr. Nice Guy get anywhere very quickly, when we're talking about proven injuries and property damage, and narrow escapes from further injuries/damage, get you anywhere!?

    We've got two more events there for 2013, do you expect it to be better by then, without the topic getting traction and heat (pun intended for what we need to go fast) by the racers and BoD?
