    Pirelli for 2014

We just got done renewing with Pirelli for 2014. Our results in 2013 should be an undeniable testimony how great the Pirelli tire is for CMRA tracks.

Danny able was to post a 1:44.930 this last weekend on his GSXR-750 in B Superbike on a still tricky track this last weekend. The DOT/Supercorsa tire is the easiest DOT tire in the paddock to setup your bike around. You will likely drop at least one second a lap instantly putting them on. It made my job easy with keeping the 750 running at a winning pace, while we developed the new GSXR-1000 on the team. It was also nice as they have great life and I didn’t have to deal with tire changes on Sundays even when we chose the SC0. Not once did Danny race B Supebike on a “new tire” all season…and he was undefeated.

The Superbike Slick is just amazing. Again, Danny’s performance really underscored the raw performance of the SC0 and SC1 rear slicks. You can also talk to guys like Eddie Thornton, Dwayne Davis, and others that ran their best times this year on the Superbike Slicks.

John Hutchinson and SCRC are going to be posting contingency again. John worked really hard to make the contingency possible. Make sure you reach out to Hutch at www.scracecenter.com or attend our “How to write a race resume and market your sponsors dinner” on November 9th to get the best deal for 2014 http://www.rpsraceteam.com/#!form-fo...-motopia/c1q4k

    John does Pirelli pay contingency?

I'm not a fast guy and didn't even race the 2nd half of the season so not sure my endorsement amounts to sh*t but I've been on Pirellis for two years and absolutely love them. Best tire available in my opinion. The fact you have to deal with John is the only down side. LMAO Just kidding. John is the man and I'll be buying plenty of rubber from him in 2014. Love ya Hutch! lol
Isn’t is sad how some people’s grip on their lives is so precarious that they’ll embrace any preposterous delusion rather than face an occasional bleak truth?

I love the DOT Pirellis on my 600. I run the DOTs in every class. They are sticky! They have really given me a lot of confidence this year and John is really easy to work with and very helpful.

    Bobby,

Yes Pirelli pays contingency in the CMRA, and will continue to do so in 2014. I plan on adjusting some things to include some classes that were left out in 2013. Rookie expert and F40 classes to name a few.
