I assume this is a reply to the topic.....and not someone elses reply.

I'm not looking for perfection...these rules are for your and my safety, they are not competition rules....like using slick in a DOT race.

I'm offering my opinion that I think the ramifications of these types of rules infractions are significantly disproportional to their potential safety implications and when compared to other rule infractions.

Instead of a 6 hr endurance, maybe we should have 6 Team 60s in a row on Sat. Team 60 = endurance - drama.

I appreciate and understand your thinking, why not take it up with Linz privately first?

I was going to say split up the Team 60 classes between novice and expert but then I wouldn't have a goal to achieve.

first off...anything where you ride less than an hour (individually) is no where close to being an endurance race....30 minutes is a walk in the park and hardly a warm-up for an endurance rider.

second....if a discussion to try and keep anyone safe from another persons mistakes is drama for you, then stop reading and go watch a reality TV show, that's where the drama is!

+1 on the 30 minute stint =x= endurance racing. And just to clarify Dennis, when Linz came over, he didn't allege that you were speeding. He just said, politely, that he heard you going out, did not get a speed, but it sounded like you were taking off pretty hard and asked me to simply remind the team to keep it under 30 in the pit area. My bad if I didn't communicate that clearly. All good here.

Ahhh, Ok. Yes I am always conscious of my speed on pit lane. Won't matter the rest of the season though.

I've been told I have an ear for speeders, you know.
