    01 GSXR 750 Setup Question

I've got an 01 GSXR 750 I am trying to get the geometry dialed in, there isn't a lot of information out there like I thought there would be. I currently have the forks raised into the triple trees 3mm and the rear raised about 7mm. It's starting to turn a little better, but I think it can be better, I just don't know how radical to go with ride height adjustments. Figured one the old pro's might remember what they did when they ran the bike.

I had mine at 10mm rear and iirc, 6mm showing above the triples. My '06 had about the same rear but the forks were 6mm below the top of the triples with fork extenders.

TBH, I'd give a ring to Brandon at P1 and see what he has to say. There are a lot of measurements that need to be done to get it right. What works for me (or someone else) may not work for you.

Ok, thanks for the response, this reinforces what I've read.

I thought I saw a "Whoppies" sponsorship thing at the bottom of your post. He can help as well....he's ridden GSXR's for along time. Be careful of the swingarm angle, that's a pretty important issue with most bikes as well. Sorry I don't have an specific number for you though.

Thanks, I have a good understand of how changes affect the handling. Everything I've read and heard suggests the 00-03 750 needs the trail reduced. Where as the later models needed the center of gravity raised.
