Ide love to do it.. but i say we keep it at 12..start around lunch end just after midnight. Im all for the 24 hour but at the same time it might eliminate some teams... 24 hour edurance fee's around $1200... 7~12 rear tires and 3~5 fronts....95~120 gallons of gas. I know alot of people do it different but my guess is around $5K for a 24 hour. Ide also want an additional rider for the 24. If we keep it at 12 we can keep same rules and everyone can still party on after the race.

Are we positive they are actually closing or is everyone basing this on the fact that they have no events posted past june 2015, could it be possible they have not updated their schedule that far in advance?

I think it's early enough that if we can get a blessing from the club, we can find some supporters of the race and perhaps defray some costs. I think that if everyone that wants to race can do a few simple things like, petition supporters and investors, volunteer some corner workers, etc, that we will make it affordable.

With the venue's history and demise to follow shortly after this race, I believe that gaining some monetary and volunteer support would be do-able.

I'm not kidding with this and I have had very, very enthusiastic response from club members, BoD members, and most importantly club administrators. Much like other "bucket list" type items, this won't be cheap; but that's not why anyone would do something like this. You do it for the life-long memories it will create. The best part about this is, it's completely within our reach in our own back yard, at a familiar location! Not everyone will get the chance to be Craig Montgomery or the Cretu's and hit the Isle of Mann, but this, this is within all of our reach!

They're closing. I can't remember the exact date, but it's sometime in June.

Email notices have been sent out to the vendors. It's closing. Last event is May 31st on the schedule.
