    2014 Season Sprint Champions

    2014 Season Sprint Champions
Congratulations to the following Experts who won Class Championships this year!

Per the rulebook "CMRA Expert class champions will receive a $40 credit per race event for each class championship won. If an Expert has won multiple classes they will receive multiple credits. A class champion does not have to apply the credit to the same class they won; it is valid for any sprint class they participate in. Credits are not transferable from one race weekend to the next."

    Daniel Adams – D Superstock, D Superbike, Formula 2
    Ryan Andrews - Grom Challenge
    Brandon Cleland – B Superstock, C Superstock, C Superbike, Formula 1
Bobby Davies - Team 60 MW
Andy Gilliland – Solo 30 LW
    Chris Hamlett – HW Twins
    Ron Mears – Modern Classic
Jay Newton – Rookie Expert HW
John Orchard - Team 60 MW
Darrell Ricks – A Superstock, Formula 40 HW
Kevin Taylor – Solo 30 HW
    Brad Thomas – E Superstock
Eddie Thornton – B Superbike, Team 60 HW
Derek Wagnon – A Superbike, Team 60 HW
Jim Whitten – LW Twins, Formula 40 LW, Solo 30 ULW, Formula 4
Eric Williams – Solo 30 MW
    **Brandon Altmeyer – 500 Supersport
    **Michael Capuchino – Motard
**Britten Geary – Rookie Expert LW
    **Andrew Sukach – Classic

** Unfortunately, per the CMRA Rulebook, Brandon, Michael, Britten and Andrew will not be awarded a championship in their class this year because the minimum season entries were not met. In order to recognize their achievements and dedication to their racing programs in 2014, they will still receive their entry discount for 2015 and a 1st Place Class trophy at the CMRA banquet in December. Congrats!

Please, when I drag Mrs. Felio to the banquet, don't anybody tell her I've been pretty much racing in a "class all by myself" this season! Having a hard enough time keeping this whole $racing$ thing sold on the homefront...

What happened to all the other old guys, anyway?

**BTW, I appreciate CMRA doing an award at the banquet in either case.

Sorry man, I was getting back to San Antonio too late at night Sunday, so switched from the 650 to a 250 ninja and just ran Saturday so we could pack up Sunday morning and head home at a decent hour... I think we have the packing thing down, so I'll probably run the 250 against ya next season... well, not against, but in the same race...lol
