    SuperStock A Crash (Yorke)<----Idiot

I just wanted to thank Linz, Ryan, Walter and the staff for scraping me and my bike up out of turn 1 today. I have to say they have it nailed down, they made me at ease and calmed me down, big thank you. Sorry to anyone that I might have messed your race up, by having to have a restart because of the Red flag.

I also want to thank Rodrigo, Myla, Scott, Brandie, Joey, Paul, Dean and everyone that helped me load my stuff up so I could leave. Up until turn 1 in SSA I was having a blast, a little worn out from a long weekend, but it was fun.

I went to the VA to get checked out, and to my surprise they didn't find any breaks or separations. There is some popping and pain going on, but hopefully as the days wear on, its just inflammation.

As far as the wreck goes, I hadn't really planned to go for it that race. But the Green flag dropped and I just reacted, really weird. I was flying down pit straight and had Jeff Reeves to my left showing how easy it is to wheelie on a BMW. I just gave it that little extra umph and then went to brake, and the rear end came up and I just couldn't slow the bike down, I released the pressure slightly to get the rear down and then increased and then I saw Paul Bradley's rear wheel in front of me and then decided I wasn't going to take him out and endo'd.

I feel really lucky considering the bike landed on top of me, all my gear worked as designed, I am just really sore. If anyone has any video and wants to post it up, I don't mind, but Please not on Facebook. I got peeps on there that don't need to see that.

Thank you, the out pouring of well wishes and concern is what makes the CMRA so special. Lesson learned, I knew better than to do that in the first turn, I just wasn't thinking and got in over my head. I am so glad no one else got caught up in my mess. I didn't realize 2 experts had gone down, I thought it was from me and I felt really bad.

Dean Sims has it well as some others, as embarrassed as I am about it, it's always good for others to see so they don't make the same mistake.

Hey Yorke, give John McKenzie a message about some footage from that race. He should still have the video of the first crash/your crash. Had no idea that was you at first that had endo'd. Glad to hear you're ok for the most part though. Take it easy and heal up buddy.
