For the record Jim whitten ran a 1:29 in E SB while justin McWilliams only ran 30's on his 300.

Jim ran a 1:32:189 in ESB. Which was the fastest for a Ninja 250. The only other faster time was a CBR 250 with the 300 overbore which is legal for ULW ESSE. Although the engine did give in after 2-3 hours I believe.
You're right and I'm not sure why I misremembered that.
