Posting for a friend so all questions should be directed to him. He is local in Houston (TC &20th St) and runs a hydroponics and biodiesel shop. Always kept in his office with his Vmax and S1000rr. If I remember right this was a Euro street bike he had shipped over.

Aprilia shipped lots of these over to the US for 2009. None of them are street legal as shipped and you have to get the light wiring harness to make the headlights/ tail light work.

I have one and HPC raced 2 more last year, they're great fun to ride and race. They need a big bore kit in order to be really competitive with the baby ninjas, and those kits are available through AF1.
