R6 Clip-ons hit Fairing stay

Just got a new 08 R6.
Woodcraft clips on and a MotoHolders fairing stay.

Bars were way to far in when I bought the bike, I moved them forward some and now they hit the fairing stay before full lock.

I can get a little longer brake lines and arrange them to move the brake down a little farther but I'm afraid it would still hit.

Does anyone have this issue with any of the other fairing stays, like a Vortex or a R&R?

My perches hit the gauges and stay with all stock parts. I don't make u-turns on the track very often.

I think the main issue with bars hitting hard parts is that if you go down, the bars can easily knock loose/damage things like gauges and fairing stays that would have otherwise been undamaged.

Bingo, this is what I'm worried about.
The GSXR if hit part of the front fairing. I cut out a nice notch and then it was good.
With how the fairing stay is I can't really modify it without welding and really changing it.

Didn't know if something had one of the OEM vortex stays and if it worked better.

I am going to look at that. I was thinking I might tray a wheel weight if the steering stop was like the GSXR.
