It would be great to have a historian for stuff like this. I've always wondered who the oldest woman was that raced with CMRA. Nobody I've asked really seems to know. We need to start documenting fun stuff like this ... these stories are really great!!
Nope. I just saw you were online so I figured the chances of you seeing that were better than normal. I had a buddy of mine tell me that he met Hector not too long ago; does that count? My work has a motorcycle outreach program and the girl that works those events tells me she meets people that know me all the time. haha. I'm kind of a big deal I suppose.

My son David and I. Head to head at Oakhill and Cresson, '02 to '04 ish. He stuffed me at Cresson where NOBODY passes on his 125 and went on to beat me. I was on my 400. I have an old 8mm video of him and i at Oakhill, shot and narrated by the great Chuck Mccoy. Believe Chuck and Bentley raced against/with each other. Gary Sinclair and his sons Daniel and Stephen. Perhaps Chase Vivion and his dad Scott. Good times for sure, a lot of great memories.
Historian. Heh. Well, I'll tell you a story. On second thought, I won't.
I can think of several women in various areas of their 40s who have raced with us over the years I've been around. Some are now. I'll have to go back further and think harder if anyone female older comes to mind. Many say it's not polite to ask a woman's age, so in some cases, I'm not wholly sure.

I am very proud that at that age of 53 I still have the passion, determination and agility to get out there and race. And I don't plan to stop any time soon. Of course my season was cut short this year because of this stupid broken collar bone but I'll be back out there again in 2016. I have to be ... Shandra says that I'm a real racer now![]()
Right. I have always been too cheap to actually own 2 functioning race bikes to allow us to race against each other, but Thomas and I ran many mini endurance races together and Rachel joined in for a few there at the end. Might even have had two family teams competing against each other if Linz had Raynie on his team at one of those events.
Did TMGP too. One of my favorite memories was riding back from Katy on the first weekend that Thomas bested my laptime on the NSR50 (you wanna talk power to weight disadvantage!) and for the entire 2.5 hr ride home I had to listen to smack talk from a 13 year old about how he was going to have to find a new teammate since I was holding him back and all. Omg. Good times!
