I'm so surprised that I haven't heard anyone say that the forward press of Rossi's bowed knee caused an equal and opposite reaction that hit Marquez's right handlebar (somewhere), and took away his counter steer. The slower a motorcycle goes (especially a race bike), the more unstable they become. It's rather obvious, that as soon as Rossi turned his back to Marc, Marquez dropped his head and accelerated his helmet into Rossi's knee. I just rewatched "Hitting the Apex", I would need a clicker to count how many times the commentators said, "ran him wide." "Ran him off the track." "That's extremely agressive riding." "He hit him on that pass." Of Jorge, Pedrosa and Marquez...even though Simoncelli is the other fastest rider in history, the amount of carnage from MnM is greater than the other 5 combined...at least that's how it looked from the Movie?! But I'm hoping that arbitration will sort this out? Having said that, had Rossi received a ride through penalty, as so many have asked? Rossi would've finished for 6th, all things being equal, so how can FIM/DORNA justify an even stricter penalty after letting Rossi continue (to protect the Championship they said)??? Strip his points to 6th place then, and let the Championship be decided by a race not politics!!!
