    Another idea
Drill a hole, epoxy glue it in, use a battery tender type connector to your battery charging cable

CHOOSE THE SOLID RED ONE (NOT BLINKING ONE OR MULTI COLORS)

Great find, Bill. The rules don't say how bright the lights have to be, but I assume to serve the intended purpose they should be fairly bright. Do we all think one of these would do the trick? Two, three, five? I'm asking because I like this solution for my CBR600, which has an undertail exhaust - limiting mounting space for a light.

Stuff vibrates, cracks, and occasionally falls off peoples bikes now. I would put one of those face palmy emoticon thingys but i'm old and only know how to properly mount stuff to race bikes.
I agree battery operated and adhered lights could a reliability concern. FYI for the RC390's in Moto America the light was hardwired and screwed into the tail fairing underside but I do not think it had any film on it. It looks like a simple 6 led red light. It had to be present for tech no matter what the weather but the connector was left dangling under the seat to be plugged in during wet races. The light was verified to be on and working by MA race marshals upon entry onto the wet track. Easy enough... tons of crashes, never broke or dislodged and was totally helpful in the rain.

Shameless sponsor plug: BikeMaster has connectors that plug directly into your OEM harness for anyone considering that option.

Those are a great find Ron !

    Kyle,
I'm guessing we will have to order some & power them up for Walter to see ( maybe post pic of them next to bicycle LED light)
They are only $2 each but shipping is gonna cost more than that !
I've been thinking about how you would replace one if it is damaged.
    They come with a collar.
Would probably have to JB Weld Quick Set collar into the tail & slide the LED into it with a small dab of silicone to secure it
You should be able to remove it if needed - just don't use too much silicone !
May have to install a pattern of 3. (if they are bright enough)
One rear facing, and one to each side slanted slightly to the left & right
The best brightness is going to be looking straight on.
Not so good from the sides

Something like this might be easier
    1-11/16" x 5/8" x 3/8"

    Or these.....

Looks like you have to phone them - their order page is not working

    Both claim to be waterproof

Being such a considerate person, I'll check with Derek Wagnon to make sure it isn't too bright for him.

    3. Great job on the 75% race completion for points rule.
    4. great job making big bike and lightweight endurance points the same across the board.
Agree with formula 4 for moriwaki 250. Although the 125 is supposed to be sleeved down to 112 or have a non power valve 125cc engine correct? A MD250 makes about 30HP? but much heavier motor.

So the classes for MD250 are:
    1. Form 2
    2. Form 3
    3. E superbike
    4. Ultra Lightweight GP

I'm honestly surprised that there weren't any more safety rules implemented in the fueling procedures in the endurance series. I think we need to be more proactive about this. I have seen countless people stand with pin not pulled & pointing the extinguisher 2 inches from the fuel cap.
    Serious thought only please

The bicycle LED ones work off a watch battery and the whole thing probably weighs 2-3 ozs. Super light. In fact, if one of those came off, it wouldn't even be dangerous. I've hit dragon flies that were more substantial.
