There are fast-fuel options for stock tanks. There are a number of little things to be done to make tire changes quicker. Most racers can barely do a tank's worth of riding. I also am suspicious that even the teams that CAN do all the fancy stuff don't. It's like with the Formula and Superbike classes on Sunday where it's pretty much the same bikes as in SS.

I don't pretend to know how this class will do, but your "statistics" are worst-case. And it's only an issue with the overall standings in a race

Obviously having more bikes is good, I didn't mean it that way, however, having a class that is by design built to never compete, well now that is STUPID. In a 6-8 hour race, stock tank R6 is going to have what 2-4 more fuel stops? Tires stops will be of same frequency, just much much slower... Still can't touch the bike during fueling so while you're using your VP can to painfully slowly fill your stock tank, just watch the actual endurance prepped bikes put LAPS at a time on your team at each pit stop. Bike for bike on the track the SS 600 versus SB 600 bikes won't have a performance gap to speak of, we've all seen that, but in the pits it will be ridiculous.

At cresson and Hallet a front/rear change with fuel will cost you 2 laps minumum per attempt.
    Here is an alternative view.

In fulfilling my Prov Nov requirements a while back, we ran an older GSXR600 with zero of the "endurance prepped" items you refer to in BBE at TWS.

We had fun, laughed our asses off, and left with a smile.

I think we all realize we aren't on a path to a Moto-GP ride, well...most of us.

    BTW, "God complex"?

YOU ARE WRONG! We have a quick fill that works with a stock tank, we had the front and rear as close to quick change as possible without breaking the rules. On the front we have magnets in the caliper pistons, beveled brake pads and a smaller flexible front fender. On the rear I re-engineered a wood clamp, so it captured the rear caliper and held it in place during wheel swaps. We would have lost some time to the big setups, but it wouldn't have been as bad as you would think. I didn't want to build a 7 gallon tank and put it on a bike, when only a couple of us MIGHT have been able to run it dry.

And I have to echo the thoughts of others, you have 17 posts on the forum. Are you new to the club? Your not going to make a lot of friends by attacking people the way you have so far. The idea was to get new teams involved with BBE, I liked the idea, because myself and a few guys wanted to build a team to go racing and have fun. It looked like a good first year class, with the idea of adding parts and moving up next year.

Why get involved if right from the get go you have absolutely ZERO chance of contending?

    I suggest you re-read Staton's quote:

That statement right there, tells me you know nothing about this sport or the people you meet while being involved in this sport. Your not even a licensed racer as far as I can tell, so I find it quite puzzling as to why your even on here? I really have nothing more to say to you on this, or anything else for that matter.

I guess we race for different reasons, I have never suited up and taken track just for fun. Rather any of us have a future in this or not, it's still competition, doing it "for fun" or half heartedly is what gets people hurt. We are way to close to the edge to be there just for fun. My opinion ofcourse, but I AM entitled to it...

    loooooool

Racing is serious business, you know with all these full time racing contracts up for grabs and all.

I think you're the only one I can think of who doesn't have fun doing this. Again, you should reread some of these posts again and think of why that class is there to begin with.

    Honestly, I'm just baffled now.

Tommy, I honestly think he is here to stir up drama within the club, nothing else. Just ignore him
