Well, I guess I should quit all together, along with the rest of the 90% of the people who race anything who will never have a chance of putting it on the box in any class.

My opinion ofcourse, but I AM entitled to it...
There is a difference been "for fun" and "half heartedly". In fact, other then maybe 10 people who race regularly at the club level, everyone is out here to have fun. They compete, they try hard, they are not screwing around or doing anything half heartedly. They are out here having fun. I'm willing to bet even the few super fast guys that are racing at the club level and professionally are doing it for fun.

I tried to be nice but have become tired of your nonsense. You are a moron and a troll. Go away.

you fellas are way to sensitive, I mean no harm to you. I have not attacked you or called any of you any names or anything of the nature. All I am saying is that this particular class is strange to me, I get that it helps add bikes to the grid, I just don't understand why anyone would want to be in a class that will never have a chance to compete, that's all I'm saying, nothing more, nothing less.

Just for educational purposes, could you enlighten us unwashed masses of your racing resume?

I suddenly feel all inadequate and all sensitive. Maybe if I understood your high status and position in this sport, I could get a better understanding of your perception of how I'm not competing if I'm in a class on a bike that can't (or shouldn't) take the overall win (I sometimes ride a motard in SSD sprints...its the same, but different).

    Thanks in advance for sharing.

There, I feel all warm and fuzzy again.

How bout you? You feeling OK? It's a wonderful day so far.

i race an SV650 in BBE. I've even raced it in super stock B purely for fun. Shameless plug in 3-2-1...

Edit: except slicks, it's super sport legal

They won't be competitive for the overall, but being it's own class they can get a class podium. If it gets more bikes on the grid, awesome.

Well if you have 4 or more bikes within the class, they compete with each other for a, wait for it, wait for it "CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP". Very few people suit up and are competitive from the get go, most of this is learned through experience not osmosis. While everyone takes the sport serious and the things that can happen with it, pushing yourself to new highs and personal achievements with in a team, is FUN! Racing is fun, if it wasn't, not many would do it at a club level, especially with the costs involved.

But, once again, someone has asked YOU about YOUR racing experience, resume and why your here, and you still have not answered the question. I am not sensitive, I just have no time for somebody that gets on here and talks a big game and by the look of it, isn't even a part of the club. Just a troll, stirring up drama.

Personally, I'd like to do away with the over sized gas tanks, and eliminate C superstock. All teams should run a factory sized tank, but allow for quick fill options. I think that cost alone scares people away. And lets face it, having an over sized tank gives you a slight competitive edge. With a company like Fast Frank, quick change set-ups are relatively inexpensive. And like Yorke mentioned, there are plenty of options for in house fab work to help with wheels changes that don't require a lot of money. I think the gas tank rule alone would level out the playing field. Plus, it will make things more interesting with more rider changes. Just my two cents. But I really don't know a lot of about endurance racing

I just wish he were right about the rest .....Lord ("I" ;-) knows it'd be a whole lot easier to run the races if all that riff-raff that isn't in it solely to compete at the highe$t level weren't hanging around clogging-things up, wasting our time having fun and enjoying the community.
