Same bike, same predicament. This is what I went with.

I works great. Easy install but you have to take out the tube cap thingy in the center or it'll bind. I covered the hole with duct tape. These bikes don't really need a damper anyway; I keep mine dialed almost all the way out.

Thank you Ty. We bought that exact same unit in black, works great. We tried 2 different linear models and had problems with both.
