RC390 steering damper and Race for Free program

Just completed the prov nov course last month at Cresson and have been slowly getting the RC390 CMRA legal. What's everyone doing for a steering damper?

Also, I received KTM's race for free cards in the mail. CMRA is mentioned as a club. How does one use these? Am I being refunded for race entry fees by KTM?

I went ahead and contacted Hard Racing about the Scott's damper. They wrote me back saying there is no damper available. Since there isn't one on the market I presume this means I'm okay without a damper for now.

You might have to rig a fork clamp and a post and just get a stabilizer that will will bolt to these 2. Cause I looked into the rule book about stabilizers for 250s and even asked questions about it in motodfw and it's required on the 250, so I can only imagine that the 390 would definitely need one as well.

    Hi Kevin,

We are in the process of producing the entry forms for the KTM races. They will be posted on the Forms Page when they're ready. You can also register to race at the track. There will be a line on the form for you indicate that you have a KTM voucher. If you pre-enter, we'll need to get a copy of the voucher with your entry form and then pick up the original at the track. If you register at the track, be sure to bring your voucher with you.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

This might be a little late, but I got my damper from Formula390.com

He's a local machinist here in Austin that specializes in the RC390
