    Oh man... that's just depressing.

I really loved hitting turn 7 at high speed coming off the back straight... and now, it's gone. Sigh...

This will forever be my favorite CRMA track. I have TONS of memories from here. Was hoping for a miracle with this one... but alas... looks like it's truly over.

Here was another depressing image from after Harvey:

I was by there today. The model homes just inside the back gate look finished. It is depressing to see the housing development moving forward.

Eric I cannot imagine just how many laps you did on that track. I remember the grids of SVs screaming in packs down the front straight. Sounded like bombers heading to Germany in WWII. Good times!

I remember riding the banking, we called it " The Bowl".
High speed wobble, suspension bottomed out and yeah
your chin banbanging off the fuel tank like ping pong ball
and paddle. Terribly intimidating, especially when an expert
went screaming past you doing 175mph and your a first time
time novice doing "maybe" 130mph. The tire swells were deep
from the cars suspension, and made you wonder how the he#!
does one fast guy pass another fast guy without crashing their brains out . After getting used to it when you finished a race,
you felt kind of giggly inside after your adrenaline and blood pressure settled back down to normal. Wild and fun memories
I'll never forget, that's for sure.
