    New Solo 30 Format

With the first Solo 30 coming this weekend I have a question. Since the format is based on mileage now, thus # of laps at a specific track will there be a lap count down displayed or still be by the clock. I know, I know race to flag comes out but sometimes its just nice to see what is left.

    Just curious

Solo 30 is now the Solo Series.

    Race lengths:

The Heavyweight / Middleweight race will be 60 miles in length.
The Lightweight / Ultra Lightweight race will be 40 miles in length.

Race distance / track length = race distance in laps. (race distance is always rounded up to the next whole lap)

MSRH is 2.38 miles in length.

    60/2.38=25.21 (HW/MW = 26 laps)
    40/2.38=16.8 (LW/ULW = 17 laps)

Race distances will also be announced at the riders briefing.
