Woodcraft is probably going to be the most affordable and convenient set, mounts right to their clip-on bars. Rizoma makes some nice minimalist ones that have some give to them (thin and hard plastic guards instead of beefy aluminum like Woodcraft), but at about double the cost. The Deon, also pricy, has a nice break-away feature intended to avoid trapping hands, but I nearly dumped the bike the first time I tried to turn left in the paddock (fairing clearance). Probably dozens of other manufacturers and options out there, but those are the ones we sell and I have experience with.
KTM is putting them in their Power Parts catalog and will be available at KTM dealers next spring.

Vortex makes a nice, affordable guard.
Any idea when these rules are going to be finalized? I have 3 bikes that I already spent money on parts (that I may not be able to use) and have parts waiting to go out for work. I don't do this for a living and therefore would like as much time as possible to build these bikes.
Not much is going to get finalized around here until the banquet is over this weekend. Everyone is working like crazy to get ready for that first.

Gavin, like Nancy said we are all working very hard to get ready for our 11th event (the banquet). This will be an important topic for the BOD meeting Satirday morning. Make plans to attend the open meeting Saturday afternoon for more details.
You mentioned that you have parts that need to be sent out. I hope those are not engine parts. I can assure you that regardless of weather or not we chose to go the spec class route the LW classes will remain Superstock classes.
