This was once Roger Albert's bike that won many podiums in the CMRA.
As you'd expect, since Roger previously owned it, suspension is set-up well.
I bought it 2 years ago from Barry Hobbs for $1,500
We raced it as the "Team Scream" bike in TMGP for a season and won a number of podiums.
Put a fresher motor in it and raced it twice last year. It's fast. Beats most other XR100's.
Typically F7 and F6 classes.
- 17" wheels (Bridgestone 125 GP slicks with only 2 races on them)
- Front brake disc conversion with CR80 front end.
- Works Performance shock
- Kitaco carb kit
- Custom throttle set-up
- Triple clamp riser custom bar mounts
- CR80 front forks with emulators. Bike handles very well. Anyone that has rode this bike agreed it's one of the best handling XR100's on the grid.
-Titanium nuts on valve adjusters
- Frame brace (I'm told they're no longer manufacturing these aftermarket braces, so a nice addition)
It's set-up with appropriate safety wire, catch pan lower, etc. Ready to race.
What it might need:
- Muffler is very loud. Has a Jemco low-pipe. But needs to be addressed, as the Katy TMPG track is close to residential neighborhood
- The newer motor we put in leaked a little oil during a 4-hour race. Not too much, but enough that we addressed it. We went through the whole motor and changed all the gaskets, etc. I rode it up and down my street since then, and then let it run for an additional 10 min and no leaks, but I haven't raced it since the work was done.
I also have a TON of XR100 parts that go with it. 3 boxes of them. Bunch of stuff...top ends, button ends, clutches, levers, spare gearing, ....can probably build another motor with it all.
Bike is in Austin.
PM me if you're interested and I can text u pics or provide more info.
$1,200 takes it all.
