    Ok, I changed the settings, it does seem to be working a lot better, thank you for the information. I was really getting frustrated with the other settings.

    Why is it though, that this Forum, is the only one that seems to be susceptible to these type-lagging issues, and resulting in us needing to make changes to our browser settings..?
    What's different here, than the multitude of other forums we're all on...?!

    Not a browser setting but a forum setting. But I would vote strongly for the default setting to be moved to "standard" since it seems like this is a widespread problem.
