You mean like you already did with your rearsets? And monoshock. And handlebars. And upper fairing. And lower fairing. And tires...

    good point Pops.

silly rule is silly but honestly, I would race with a giant purple plastic weiner strapped to the back if it was required.

I always thought the rear light idea was a good one.. but I have to ask... how creative are we going to be allowed on this? I ask because it would seem to me that some amount of similar conformity might be appropriate.. and I would hate to put together a system or fixture that down the road is not. I do like the looks of Bryan's though!

Just make sure your strap on has a red light on it.

Bryan, while I do agree that your light looks cool it may not be exactly what we are looking for. My fault for not being more specific. The Idea is to make the rear of the machine in front of you more visible in the heavy spray being thrown up by a modern rain tire on a gloomy day in the rain. I'm worried that your setup may border on distracting. I'm curious what it will look like in the conditions I mentioned above from behind a wet faceshield. I'm not saying change it, I'm saying lets see how it performs before we pass judgment. In a perfect world It will never get tested but if 2015 was any indicator it likely will.

The photo looks a lot brighter than it really is. I'm confident that it is bright enough to be noticeable from a distance but not glaringly so. With it being tucked under the tail, it's not as in-your-face as it seems here.

Why is it a silly rule? Is it because it may cost the racer a few dollars or is it because its a little extra work to install? It's funny I remember the same thing being said about brake lever guards and oil containment belly pans. All of these items are required in the name of safety. I have a hard time calling anything safety related silly.

Understand we are talking about grafting a pre power valve motorcrosser engine into a gp chassis here.

The 4-2troke displacement limit for Formula 4 is 180cc.
