i know Walter and the BOD are on it, just hope we get to race again and don't lose contingency $ from manufactures. And I hope we all remember this isn't TMRA ;)

Just a thought.
Thursday's are member days at MSRH, zero chance they will be able to give that up.

Curious to know what it would take to make the 3.1 at Cresson rideable. It has some neat features but clearly lacks some runoff in a few areas.

I'd be willing to sacrifice a weekend if it meant clearing out some of the runoff areas. This is certainly not a solution for this year but perhaps the future.

    Thanks!

Im with you on that! Id come out one weekend to help make it safer!

Lets say they gave us that Thursday. Would it be viable? And would the club members be interested in that format? I don't want to build false hope, but I think it's something worth looking in to.

Jeremy, I have ridden it several times. Not on a 250 and it never scared me. However, riding it on a member day and riding it in a race is certainly different. You certainly enter Ricochet going a hell of a lot faster than the 1.7. Agree, runoff areas need improvement. However, some of the elevation changes and blind corners are a ton of fun! Maybe my self preservation function is set lower than yours. I've seen what living forever looks like and it's not all it's cracked up to be.

Just curious if there's a work around for it.

Joe, not ridden it...walked it. Have you had a chance to walk the track and take a look at the runoff areas and what what they look like? That's my concern. Big drop offs, lots of rocks, lots of big rocks, etc. Agree, trying to find a work around is something to be considered.

I like Alonzo's idea, maybe Team60 and Solo30's Fri and Sat.

Yes Jeremy, I have and I agree with you. Thats why I also mentioned it with the intent of what it would take to prepare for next year. And having looked at it both ways, walking and riding, and having attended multiple track days as well as race days to the point of nausea I was curious as to what it would take to prepare it to make it useable AND add variety. Maybe this didn't come across well with my New York accent. :-)

Geeze, you folks on the board just don't listen to the membership. More concerned with the use of the BoD jet, banning the chicken song at Hallet (in favor!), not smiling at the members, and all those other perks (ZERO).

Anyway, as far as viewing the track and its runoff areas, I prefer the ignorance of speed. Ciao!

The 1.3 at MSR is not an option.

    My top 5 sports fantasies:

    1) barely losing to John McGuiness at IoM, but only because I lost 0.15s having to save the Mother-of-All tank slappers, after coming over that one hill (with high-speed video captured and posted on YouTube)
    2) hitting a homerun in the old Yankee Stadium and doing the perfect bat-flip that starts a bench clearing brawl
    3) getting caught by the paparazzi with Maria Sharipova, and then getting called out by TMZ as her "new Old Guy love toy"
    4) knowing what a 1:15.1 at Cresson would even feel like
    5) being bummed that TWS closed because it could mean I would probably lose contingency $'s
