Race monitor app is prefect compainion to the broadcasts. It's honestly not THAT bad if you just have a fm radio and outdoor speakers a scanner is almost too much chatter. I really like the app notifications idea. If you don't want to buy a scanner at least get an cm radio

Pack trailer before race weekend
Apply bandages to thumb when my dumbass sliced it open
Unload trailer and get pits ready
Help to get sprint bike ready
Put on and take off tire warmers
Help put on and take off suit (we all know how important that is)
Then all the same for the endurance race, bringing stuff to and from pits, helping over the wall with the extinguisher
Corner work with me all day Sunday
Help pack up, return transponder, etc.

She ended by telling me I better be nice or she will start renting herself out for race weekends lol.
