That's why I initially went with an LED light strip. It weighs virtually nothing and needs minor adhesive in addition to what it already came with. The wiring acts as its own tether should that fail. I don't understand why this is becoming such a discussion. If I can make it happen in less than 48 hours so can you. Just follow the guidelines in the rulebook and apply a little common sense. Once you are on the bike it will all seem so insignificant. The lights will only be a peripheral image and you will focus on everything else that comes with a wet race. The lights are merely a safety feature to increase situational awareness in times of decreased visibility.
